Sup, anyway I'll cut to the chase, can a character have a "pet"?
I have a cat, named Copper, and I always include him some way or another in my stories. Someone with his personality, or a cat with his looks, etc. . .
well, can u?
I believe several characters do have pets, so I'm pretty sure the answer is yes.
Oh, next time I'd suggest posting this in Off Topic, not that this thread doesn't serve a purpose, but it helps keep things clean and organized. And organized gets harder to do with a big forum like this.

The forum's been active for several years. There are a few core members who post pretty regularly and lurk around and a lot of others who come and go. A lot of the older stuff has stalled because the people who post there have left. In the last couple of months a pair of our core posters were having some RL issues, so the forum slowed down while we waited for them.
What's RL, and OOC?? oh and, I presume the forum is goin back up again?? lol, I'm on 1-3 times a Day, i go on first thing in the morning, and during my lunch break, and after school. and on weekends, if im at my grandma's place, I'm either on Fictionpress, or playing BF1942MPD (Battlefield 1942 Multiplayer Demo) so i usually stay pretty updated, I guess u could call me a "Core member" soon, because I have at least one post, on pretty much every topic in this forum. so, pretty soon, whether u like it or not, I'm gonna be pretty involved in the forum. Anyway don't suppose we could suggest Authors add a "STATUS" to their character Abilities, etc. . . or make a lis, of characters that haven't "left" or gona inactive after a while.
RL- Real Life.
OOC- Out of Character. Used to distinguish between what your character does/says and what you yourself say.
OOC stands for "Out of character", which means what you yourself say, and not the character you choose to play as.
RL stands for "real life", generally used to show that an issue that isn't something happening to a person's character, but the author who made the character.
Generally people here only come on about once a day (or whenever someone bugs them on instant messanger), so it'd be highly reccomended not to check more than once or twice a day.
We never really consider anymore a "core member" as much as someone who creates interesting characters and interesting plots.
We have both an Off Topic and a Question thread for this sort of issue. Please move the discussion to these areas.
